We were already so excited for this wedding because of this awesome couple, so when we realized where we were going to be shooting, we were over the moon. ironstone ranch in elizabethtown, pa is absoulutely amazing — it’s a must see! not only are the grounds gorgeous, they have a tremendous staff that works throughout the day to make it a success (and they look the part, too — you’ll see!). Also, every event that takes place on the ranch supports a wonderful cause as well. danielle got ready in the beautiful farmhouse on the property with her girls, while rich and his groomsmen spent the morning around the barn getting some really fun prep photos. the donkey who roams the property made for some entertainment between the festivities, too. danielle’s grand entrance into the ceremony was a complete show stopper, and we loved the tree planting they incorporated into their lovely ceremony. after the ceremony, we were able to take the whole bridal party on a tractor ride around the premises and see all that the beautiful fall day had to offer while we grabbed some more pictures of the bride and groom and their attendants. oh, and to finish it off we visited with the longhorn cattle for a few shots – now that was a first! back at the barn for cocktail hour and reception, we loved everything about the rustic, beautiful decor. everything looked incredible, from the romantic lights to the dessert table that used wood slices as servers for delicious handmade treats to the mini jars of honey that the couple actually made themselves they used for favors. C & J Catering served an amazing family-style meal, and then the party began. after lots of fun and dancing, they finished off the evening with a beautiful sparkler exit, and the rest is history. Here’s to one amazing wedding! congratulations, danielle & rich!
