we hope you enjoy this breath of fresh air as we share jill & nick’s sweet summer wedding. Much like the little blast of summer weather we had here in maryland this past weekend, looking through photos of a day as beautiful and lovely as this can really lift your spirits in the wintertime. we absolutely love the color palette for this wedding! the blush & pinks, creams, whites and grays are ideal for a summer wedding, especially against the greens of mountain branch golf course. the dresses and the flowers were just breathtaking! here’s another wedding we did last year with a similar color scheme, although leigh & taylor took a more vintage/rustic spin on things. jill & nick’s bridal party was exceptional. they had 10 — yes, i did say 10!!- on each side. But it was definitely a case of the more, the merrier :) this group had such deep roots with one another that it really made for great company to spend your wedding day with. we loved getting to know these great friends & family of the bride and groom, as well as the rest of their wonderful families, throughout the day. if there’s one thing a couple might be concerned with when planning a summer wedding, it is the surprise of a summer thunderstorm. well, jill & nick weathered the storm, so to speak — they took the leap and chose to delay their ceremony by a few minutes to see if the rain that had quickly swept into the area would pass, and the risk was worth it! Wait till you see the sun shining through as they spoke their vows to one another — what a blessing on their day! You can actually see the sky clearing as you scroll through the photos. These two had such a wonderful collection of vendors to make their day just perfect, and we were glad to be included in the bunch. Congratulations, Jill & Nick – thanks for sharing your day with us!
